Mangalitsa Pancetta

Made using the famous Hungarian pig breed ‘Mangalitsa’. Known as the Woolly Pig! This premium pork breed is sought after by world class chefs.

The belly is cured for 4 months. An aromatic pancetta with coriander seeds, Juniper berries, salt and black pepper. Gives the wow factor to any pasta or risotto dish.

Please remember the nature of the breed lends itself to a very flavoursome fat, therefore the proportion of fat is far greater than that of the meat in the pancetta. Though that is what makes it so delicious!

Ingredients: Free-range pork 92.08%, salt, brown sugar, black pepper, fennel, coriander, juniper berries, thyme, garlic, preservative (sodium nitrite). 125g of pork is used to produce 100g of finished product.

Once opened keep in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 4 weeks.

Cooking instructions: Pan fry on a moderate heat for 3 mins. Check food is piping hot. This is a guide only.
