Mangalitsa Pancetta

Made using the famous Hungarian pig breed ‘Mangalitsa’. This premium pork breed is sought after by world class chefs.

The belly is cured for 4 – 5 months. An aromatic pancetta with coriander seeds, Juniper berries, salt and black pepper. Gives the wow factor to any pasta or risotto dish.

Please remember the nature of the breed lends itself to a very flavoursome fat, therefore the proportion of fat is far greater than that of the meat in the pancetta (85% fat approx). Though that is what makes it so delicious!

Ingredients: Free-range pork 92.08%, salt, brown sugar, black pepper, fennel, coriander, juniper berries, thyme, garlic, preservative (sodium nitrite). 125g of pork is used to produce 100g of finished product.

Serve with sustainable seafood, or as a base for a grass fed beef casserole.

Once opened keep in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 4 weeks.
